Privacy policy
Aurora handles personal information with the same discipline applied to investment governance: defined purpose, controlled access, documented retention.
01Scope
This policy describes how Aurora Global Investment Partners ("Aurora", "we") handles personal information collected through this website, the Aurora Investor Portal, and in the course of investor onboarding, servicing and administration.
By using this website or submitting an enquiry you acknowledge the handling of personal information described in this policy.
02Information we collect
We collect identity and contact details, professional and organisational details, investor classification and accreditation evidence, identity verification and source-of-funds documentation required for anti-money laundering purposes, transaction and capital account records, correspondence, and technical access logs including IP address, device information and portal activity.
03Why we collect it
To assess enquiries and mandate fit; to verify identity, accreditation and eligibility; to comply with anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, sanctions and taxation obligations; to administer investments, capital calls, distributions and reporting; to maintain security and auditability of the Investor Portal; and to communicate with investors and counterparties.
04Disclosure
We may disclose personal information to professional advisers, auditors, administrators, custodians, verification and screening providers, technology service providers, regulators and law enforcement where required, and to co-investors or counterparties where necessary and permitted.
Some service providers may be located outside your jurisdiction. Where information is disclosed across borders we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection applies.
05Security and retention
We apply access controls, role-based permissions, encryption in transit, activity logging and segregation of duties. Records are retained for the period required by law, regulatory obligation and legitimate business need, and are then securely destroyed or de-identified.
06Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. Requests, and any complaint about our handling of personal information, may be submitted through the contact form on this website. Complaints are acknowledged and investigated, and you may escalate to the relevant privacy regulator if you are not satisfied with our response.
07Cookies and analytics
This website and the Investor Portal use functional cookies and equivalent technologies necessary for authentication, session management and security. Portal access and document activity are logged for audit and security purposes.
08Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The version published on this website is the current version and applies from the date of publication.
